Smart: I feel this hair style shouts smart and tidy to me as it reflects a common hair style in the 50’s which many house wife’s would have fashioned whilst going about their daily routines. In the 50’s women where just starting to become a lot more fashion and hair conscious, after the war women let their own personality’s shine though there fashion.

Wild: The sixties was a very “Wild” era in general  generating the masses to express their wild side,  this hair style is the opposite to the 50’s style hair, as reflects the saying “Let your hair down” to the extreme back combing and big hair where the name of the game.
